We informed that “Neftçi” PFK had signed contract with Lucas Melano. 2-year contract was signed with Argentinean player. 30-year-old plaayer will wear number 16 white-black shirt.

It should be noted that Lucas played for Argentinean clubs - “Atlético Sarmiento” (2023), “Newell's Old Boys” (2022), “Central Córdoba” (2021), “San Lorenzo de Almagro” (2021), “Atlético Tucumán” (2019-2021), “Estudiantes” (2017-2018), “Lanus” (2013-2015), “Belgrano” (2011-2013, 2017), also for Chilean “Universidad Católica” (2022) və USA's “Portland Timbers” (2015-2019). He became winner of Copa Sudamericana with “Lanus” in 2013 and MLS Cup with “Portland Timbers”  in 2015. He played 3 matches and scored 1 goal for Argentina national U-20 team in 2013.
