He was born on September 11, 1970 in Baku. He played in "Avtomobilchi" (Mingachevir, 1987), "Neftçi" (1987-1988), "Qarabağ" (Aghdam, 1989-2001) clubs. He played for Azerbaijan national team in 10 games in 1992-1994. In 1987, he won the USSR youth league with "Neftçi", and in 1993, he won Azerbaijan League and Cup with "Qarabağ".

He started coaching in "Qarabağ" (2001-2002), where he finished his football career. Later, He coached "MKT-Araz" (Imishli, 2004-2005), U-15 of (2008-2010), B team of "Inter" (2010-2011), "Neftçi"s B team (2011-2014, 2017-2018), U-17 (2015-2016), U-19 (2016-2017), "Khazar" (2017-2018), "Sabah"s A team (2018-2019), U-19 (2019-2020) teams. He became champions with "Neftçi" B team in 2012 and the U-17 League in 2016. In 2018, he won I Division championship with "Khazar".

He has the PRO category of UEFA. Since July 2021, he has been working as the coordinator of the "Neftçi" Football Academy.
