“Neftçi” officialized next transfer. 2-year contract was signed with Brazilian player Yuri Matias. 28-year-old centre-back will wear number 44 white-black jersey.

Yuri Matias has played for Brazilian “America-PE” (2014-2016), Portugalian “Académica” (2016-2020), “Tractor” Tabriz (2020), on Romanian side for “Gaz Metan Mediaş” (2020-2022) and “CFR Cluj” (2022-2023). He became winner of Romanian Liga I with “CFR Cluj” in 2021/22 season.

It should be noted that “Neftçi” has transferred our national team players - goalkeeper Emil Balayev and Croatian born Filip Ozobić.
