Namig Alizada Zahid was born on January 31 in 1981 in Baku.

In 1998-2002, he studied at the "Commodity Studies" faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics with a bachelor's degree in the specialty "Quality Expertise of Consumer Goods", and in 2002-2004 with a master's degree in the same specialty.

In 2011, he received the scientific degree of "PhD in economics" on the topic "Improving the development of the consumer goods market in the regions of Azerbaijan". In 2020, he passed the competition to receive a Doctor of Science degree at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. He is currently working on his doctoral dissertation.

From 2016 until now, he is a part-time instructor of UNEC.

He worked as chief accountant in the Space Instrumentation Special Design Bureau of Azerbaijan National Aerospace Agency 2004-07, advertising manager of “Nurgun Trading” in 2007, manager of internal audit department of “Nurgun Group” LLC in 2007-09, then as head of this department, head of Quality and Process Control department, head of marketing department of “Milk-Pro” LLC in 2009-10, director of “Javahir Audit Consulting Centre” LLC in 2010-14, instructor of business, economics and management department of Odlar Yurdu University in 2015-16, head of “Business Development” group in education center of “Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping” JSC in 2016-20, chief accountant of Accounting department of “Azersun Holding” LLC in 2020-21, director of Finance department of “Agrokimya” LLC in 2021-22.

He is Financial Director of “Neftçi” PFC since January 2023.
