We present the interview of our new transfer Egor Bogomolski to “Neftçi TV”:

"Of course, I was glad that a well-known club like "Neftçi" showed interest in me. When the offer came, everything happened very quickly. Literally, all issues were resolved in 2-3 days. I knew that both the club management and the coaching staff were interested in this transfer. That's why I agreed moving to "Neftçi" without thinking too much. I believe that the Azerbaijan League is getting better every year. Moreover, our team is in the qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League. We have already left the second round behind. Of course, this is an opportunity to play in European Cups. Therefore, it is not a step back, but a step forward. Yes, when I moved to "Neftçi", I was able to talk to the head coach. He talked about what he wanted from me. So now I'm slowly joining the team and trying to use what he wants to see in me. I am slowly adapting to the climate and the team. I would like to thank the players, the coaching staff and all the administrative staff for helping me adapt here as quickly as possible. As a striker, the most important thing for me is, of course, to score goals in the league and in the European Cups, to be useful to the team and to win. From the first training, I noticed that the level of the team is quite serious. All teammates are very friendly. It is possible to find a common topic for talking with everyone. A few months ago, when I played against the Azerbaijan national team, I crossed paths with some players. I really liked this place, I think the team is established very seriously. Yes, of course I know Godsway. He is a good forward, quite technical. But, of course, I dont worry to compete with him at all. Because competitive situation always leads to development. Therefore, you want to show yourself more to get a place in the starting XI. Yes, we will play with "Rapid" on Thursday. Of course, we would like to see as many fans as possible in the stadium. We need their support very much. I hope more fans will come compared to the last match. We will show our best performance and try to pass the round."
