- During season, you were injured and were out of the field for a while. This time the injury led to surgery. How do you feel after the operation?

- Frankly, before the injury, I felt very good and in good form. But it happened that I was injured. Surgery was one of the options, but on the advice of the doctors, we tried to recover with movements first. I was operated because it was not accepted. Thank God, I feel better now. I have no pain. It just takes some time to start individual training.

- Even though you suffered from injuries this season, you have already improved last season's performance by appearing in 14 matches. What can you say about it?

- Although I appeared in 14 matches this season, last season I was in the first "11" more often. Playing as StartingXI member is more important for me. Hopefully, after I recover, I will work harder to get into the starting line-up.

- In addition to you, Ismayil Zulfugarli, one of "Neftçi" FA player, is often in the team. In addition, this season, our 4 academy players - Alirza Mushtabazada, Rza Jafarov, Aghadadash Salyanski and Omar Gurbanov - also had the opportunity to debut in the main team...

- It is a good thing that academy players of "Neftçi" made their debut in A team. Because "Neftçi" is a club that always works for good results. Preference for young players is also motivation for academy players.

- "Neftçi" is currently in winter preparation. Staying away from the team during this time will probably be very difficult for you...

- Of course it is. My team is currently in preparation, and I haven't even started individual training. It's very difficult. Hopefully, I wish to recover and join the team as soon as possible.

- What do you think, will our team, which reached the semi-finals of Azerbaijan Cup, be able to finish the season with the title?

- We had difficult match with "Zira" in the cup. Thank God that we came out victorious from this difficult test. Currently, our team is even more motivated. In my opinion, Azerbaijan Cup will be ours this season.
